Console featuring two stacked drawer units, set within a finely proportioned solid walnut base. Its compact dimensions make it equally suited to an entrance hall, living room, bedroom or study.

Already sold... sorry 😉 This was a one-of-a-kind piece, but it can be remade to your specifications.

This console is designed to create the illusion of two blocks carved from a single piece of wood. These two volumes are suspended by small spacers connected to two deliberately minimalist solid walnut frames.

It is thanks to the mitred drawer fronts that the function disappears, leaving only the form. The two drawer units, crafted in this way, allow the striking grain of the olive ash veneer to flow uninterruptedly from the top across the fronts and sides of the drawer units.

The drawers are traditionally crafted using time-honoured cabinetmaking techniques, in solid ash, assembled with finger joints and fitted with wooden runners.

An extra-matt lacquer has been applied to the solid walnut base, while the olive ash drawer units have been finished with a clear, very lightly satin lacquer.
