Console table designed as a convenient place for keys, featuring a base formed by several oak arches and a rosewood top with live edges.
This console table can be used in an entrance hall as a convenient place for keys and everyday essentials, or as a side table in your living room, providing an elegant display for a lamp or decorative objects.
The base is composed of four arches in solid oak, assembled with mitred joints. These arches are connected only by the tabletop, allowing the natural movement of the wood while reducing the risk of splitting over time.
The solid rosewood top is assembled with mitred joints, allowing the grain and the wood's natural figuring to flow seamlessly from one side to the other, creating a remarkably pure visual effect.
The live edges have been carefully preserved, revealing the raw beauty of the timber and the natural markings left in the sapwood by insects—traces that tell the living story of the material.
The finish, a blend of Tung oil and orange oil, nourishes the wood deeply while enhancing the warmth of its tones and the richness of the grain.
