Oblong double-tier coffee table, crafted with elegant Paldao veneer and a solid elm base.
Already sold... 😉 This was a one-of-a-kind piece, but I can create a new one tailored to your specifications.
This coffee table features two oblong tops with bevelled edges, inspired by the oblique cross-section of a cylinder, supported by four trapezoidal solid elm legs.
This piece has been crafted with great care and precision to showcase Paldao, a veneer that was widely used during the 1960s and 1970s but has become somewhat overlooked today.
Native to Southeast Asia, this exotic wood displays a striking grain, with alternating light and dark bands that flow seamlessly across both tiers.
The two levels create a harmonious balance between solid and open spaces while providing a generous and practical surface area.
A clear matt lacquer has been applied as the final finish. It provides long-lasting protection while enhancing the richness of the Paldao's natural tones.
