Design and making of wooden objects
Solid wood or wood veneer, with the same aim: purity of line and contrast between materials.
Nothing superflu — only well-balanced forms, the colour of each wood species and the texture of the wood beneath your hand.

The Atelier of Travers
Here, everything comes to life
L’Atelier de Travers was born from a dual heritage: graphic design and woodworking.
I brought these two worlds together in this cabinetmaking workshop, based in Travers, the hamlet where I grew up.

Sideboard – Rippled Sycamore & Rosewood
€3,490.00
Tax included
Long low sideboard featuring four doors, with a distinctly contemporary style. Suitable for use as a TV unit, among other purposes, it is crafted from exceptional veneered wood species.
A fairly low sideboard, resting on two legs, with clean lines and no visible ornamentation, asserting a clearly minimalist aesthetic.
The strong contrast between the pale, rippled white body of the piece—achieved through the use of ripple-figured sycamore—and the front in rosewood, a dark wood with a rich grain, creates a striking visual presence.
The use of the “bookmatched” veneering technique highlights the light sapwood of the rosewood, transformed into an elegant golden flame (spear point).
The doors, mounted on soft-close hinges in onyx finish, open onto an interior veneered in cherry wood. Its honey-orange tone, soft and luminous, along with its fine, slightly silky grain, brings elegance to the interior.
